Our roots in New Kent run generations deep. So does our experience — more than 50 years across primary care, emergency medicine, and healthcare operations. We've seen this system up close — and we knew it could be better.

Appointments booked out for weeks. Visits that felt rushed and impersonal. A healthcare experience built around processes instead of people. We wanted a practice where clinicians have the time to listen, and patients feel like more than a number on a schedule.

Our founding team has worked across the full spectrum of healthcare delivery — from community-based practices to national hospital systems, statewide government agencies, and large academic medical centers. That breadth of experience gave us a unique perspective on what patients and providers need most — and what healthcare can be.

New Kent is one of the fastest-growing counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia — and the gap between that growth and the availability of quality, accessible primary care was widening every year. We knew we were in a position to do something about it.
