New to direct care?
Here are the questions we hear most often.

Yes — your NKDC membership covers your primary and urgent care needs, but it's not a replacement for health insurance. We recommend pairing your membership with a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) or catastrophic coverage for hospitalizations and specialist care.

We don't bill insurance for membership services — that's by design. Removing insurance from the equation is what allows us to keep our panel small, our prices transparent, and your care decisions between you and your provider.

Membership is billed monthly on a continuous basis — not per visit or per month you choose to use. It's how we're able to be available to you when you need us.

We see patients ages 13 and up. Whether you're a young adult, self-employed, a family, or a retiree — there's a membership built for where you are.
